The Client’s Requirements
Coming from media and publishing industry; having experience with print design and digital marketing; an active youtube, twitter and facebook user, the client identified the specific challenges users faced while preparing smoothies for their guests and their family members. The key challenges users faced was to know the recipe for smoothies and ingredients that are used for making smoothies.
These challenges made the client create a new application called smoothies, where users would be allowed to add smoothies recipe into their favourite list into their account. The small idea then evolved into storing all smoothies inside application so that user can view the recipe whenever and wherever they want too.
Apart from favourite smoothies, the client wanted the application to have features such as user can read Articles on smoothies, categories smoothies, In-App purchase, etc..
Moody Smoothies concept was an excellent idea to make users know how to make smoothies for their family and guests. The client and Techseria knew that there would be many users who want to learn how to make smoothies. So it was necessary to create the backend to add data and to make mobile application show added content. The key part here was going to be storing data locally inside mobile application especially the images.
We provided the client with a Zend Framework and My SQL database based solution and we stored and delivered images into the database.
The backend is built on Zend Framework and My SQL database. The iPhone application is created with a rich UI/UX and is developed using Cocoa Framework and customised with a storyboard.
